Ideas For Party Favors

  • Place party favors in a bag. As a can opener, each guest must answer a question about himself or herself. Afterward, the guest selects his or her favorite, party favor bag. The next person to answer a question chooses a new bag or "steals" the previous guest's party favor bag!

  • Hide little party favors in your yard. When children arrive, have them search for the favors!
  • Fill pinatas with party favors instead of candy!
  • Seat guests in a circle. Play lively music and have them pass a party favor from one person to the next. When the music stops, the person holding the favor gets to keep it. Start the music again with a new favor!
  • Try this one at your tween's next slumber party. In the morning, reward those who were quiet when you said, "lights out!" with extra party favors. You'll soon establish a wonderful tradition that will have other parents wanting to know your secret to sanity!

  • When you catch a child using good manners at your party, reward him or her with a party favor. In no time, the other children will follow suit.
